Our 1875 historic kauri Church is a gorgeous venue for weddings.

The land for the Church and graveyard was given by R.O.Clark who started the first pottery on the shores of Limeburners Bay. The Church was constructed with pit sawn kauri by the early Hobsonville settlers and was used initially as a combined Church and School.

More information on weddings can be found here.

There is a lot of construction work around the Church at the moment with the development of the area from rural to residential subdivision, and a retirement village under construction behind the Church.

The Church and graveyard is looked after by us, the Hobsonville Church and Settlers' Preservation Society (Inc). We are volunteers who are keen to maintain our heritage Church and graveyard. Most of us have family ties to Hobsonville and have family buried in the graveyard.

We are keen for our newer Hobsonville residents to enjoy our lovely building and feel part of this heritage.

We are on Facebook.
